Dias de los Muertos – Day of the Dead – is the popular festival of Mexico which is more precisely known as the festival of dead celebrated on October 31, November 1 and November 2 and coincides with the Roman Catholic triduum festival of Allhallowtide: All Saints’ Eve, All Saints’ Day, and All Souls’ Day.
